  1. There is no such thing as a safe smoke: Cigars contain nicotine, and other cancer-causing toxins just like cigarettes.

  1. Cigars are a dangerous trend:  Cigars will not make you rich, beautiful or famous.

  1. Cigars cause cancer even if you don't inhale:  Smoke enters the mouth, throat and lungs even if you don't inhale.

  1. Smoking in moderation is still harmful: Cigars do not have filters to reduce tar and nicotine.

  1. Men and women are at risk:  Think about the message cigar companies are sending. Do you need an equal opportunity to kill yourself?

  1. What you see is what you get: Do you like what you see? Is this how you want others to see you? Is this how you want your children to see you?

  1. Cigars are a waste of money: The money you save on cigars can buy an education, CD's, DVD's, clothes and the other "finer" things in life.

  1. Cigar makers hide what you are smoking: Cigar makers do not give a list of what is in cigar smoke.  For example, in cigarettes, you can find such chemicals as cyanide, ammonia, arsenic, rocket fuel, car exhaust fumes, and battery acid. But this is never on the package.

  1. Secondhand Smoke Hurts: Secondhand smoke can cause your loved ones to cough, have colds, sore throats, burning eyes, and even cancer or heart disease.
